Tailgate Thursday - Shop Local Event

The Thomson-McDuffie Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce a Shop Local Tailgating event on September 1st starting at 6 pm - 8 pm! Chamber businesses and organizations are invited to set up a pop-up shop for guest to shop on Railroad Street while they enjoy a day filled with food, fun, and football. The Chamber has partnered with local restaurants to provide takeout items for attendees. In addition, the Face Place is hosting a Lightening Round Cornhole tournament between businesses and organizations.  Please contact the Face Place if you're interested in participating in cornhole.  Also, Dealing on the Railroad is sponsoring bounces houses for the children.  Following the street party at 8 p.m. will be a movie on the lawn at the Thomson-McDuffie Government Complex featuring Spider-Man (No Way Home). This is sure to be a fun-filled day for all in Downtown Thomson!
