CLOTHING SWAP & SALE
We’re excited to finally host this event! On top of selling STATE samples, pieces from past collections, seconds, and more, we’ve all been saving pieces from our personal wardrobes for months. If you're like us, your closet may be filled with pieces you've grown out of or want to pass along, and a clothing swap is a really fun way to do that!
We’ll have two classifications of clothing exchange.
First, a free swap table. This will be for clothing you’re ready to part with and will give away for free. To participate, please bring at least 8 items. They must be laundered and in good shape. All who contribute to this part of the swap can pick 8+ items from the community collection to keep. We’re hoping that all remaining items can be donated to the local shelter.
Next, we’ll have racks for nicer pieces you’d rather sell or barter for (think pieces from labels you love). Please bring items on a hanger with a piece of masking tape including your initials and the price. Anyone will be able to buy these items or you can arrange a trade / barter. If money is exchanged for items, have a PayPal or Venmo account ready so it’s easy for everyone.
You can also bring other items to sell. We’re thinking shoes, accessories, cool pottery, art (that’s small), potted plants, or even perfumes you’re no longer into. You get it… nice stuff you don’t want to give away for free, but others may want. Have prices and your initials marked on those as well.
After the clothing swap, we hope you’ll stay for lunch. It’s a potluck, so bring something to share! We know you’re coming from far away, so it doesn’t have to be anything too fancy, but fresh, healthy foods are much appreciated! Maybe even a desert or two? We’ll have a couple of main dishes and drinks.
CONCRETE PLANTER CLASS
After lunch, learn how to make a concrete planter! We’re excited to host this class and would love for you to sign up and hang out more. And who doesn’t need a great planter in their life?!
